Notice to Tenants SEE NOTICE FOR MORE INFOR
TO ALL RESIDENTS:
REQUIRED ANNUAL INSPECTION will be completed for all HUD homes on either October 1st or October 2nd, 2020. We are unable to give you a more specific time frame. All homes will be inspected.
A USIG inspector and one of our maintenance staff will do the inspections. It is not necessary that you be at home. A notice will be left on your door if your inspection has been completed while you are absent.
ALL animals must be kenneled or removed from the home during the inspection. Loose animals will be considered a lease violation. Owners should be in control of pet (hand-held leash) if not kenneled. The pet may not be shut in a room as all rooms will be inspected.
Due to COVID-19 issues the inspection team will require that you either wear a mask while they are in your home or you may step outside while the inspection is completed. Social distancing is a must. Conversation will be at a minimum for everyone’s protection.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

Governor Laura Kelly has issued an official STAY AT HOME order for the State of Kansas from March 30, 2020 until April 19, 2020. In compliance, the Iola Housing Authority office will be closed (except for emergency services) until further notice. Although rent is still due, we will not collect any payments until we have returned. ALL residents will be notified by mail when that happens. PLEASE observe recommended social distancing and sanitary health precautions during this difficult time. STAY SAFE!!! STAY HOME. YOU ARE OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
The Office is closed to the public. If you have a payment to make please put it in the drop box under the canopy. Only emergency work orders will be completed at this time.
